bring up a screen in which you can select on which ports UI messages should be sent, and define a digi path if needed.
If you want to access the BBS using a standard email client (such as Outlook), specify POP3 and SMTP Ports.
See here for further information.
If you want to forward messages from your local users to Internet email addresses, all fields must be completed.
otherwise just leave "Enable Internet Gateway" unchecked.
See here for more information on the ISP Gateway.
If you want to use Chat you must specify Chat Appl Number.
If you want to link to other BPQ Chat Nodes, complete "Nodes to Link to".
Normally you should not link to more than two or three other Chat nodes.
You must ensure that the node you are linking to also defines you as a "Nodes to Link to",
otherwise a lot of useless traffic will be generated as one end repeatedly tries to bring up the
link and the other closes it.
Here you define the lifetimes of messages for the Househeeping functions.
Here you can set up Users, define a user as a BBS, and set Paswords for the POP3 and SMTP servers.
The "Poll RMS" flag is used to enable collection of messages from the Winlink 2000 system. See here for details.
